I continually found that a lack of knowledge and access stood in my way. So, I started knocking down a few doors and aligning myself with the right people and environments to learn and grow in my business and life.
I’m all about being a woman. Hear me roar, but, for real? I just wanted to purr most days. I was exhausted juggling motherhood, growing businesses, and staying mentally sane.
My ADHD brain loved to bounce around but, sometimes to the detriment of my business and myself.
That is why I created the RISE Method. It’s a framework that helps connect the dots and gives you a starting point that we sometimes have difficulty finding. When we jump around trying to figure out this thing called life and business, we often lose ourselves and our mission to begin with.

My journey started as a young mother bootstrapping my way to success. I’ve founded and scaled multiple businesses, including Beauty Entourage, a premier beauty agency, and BE Studio, a hub for beauty entrepreneurs. I leveraged technology in a unique way while implementing grassroots strategies, becoming a bootstrapping maven in my own right.
After a global pandemic, I pivoted quickly, launching the first-of-its-kind mobile beauty suites. That business went viral, and shortly after selling it, I realized God had even bigger plans for me. I heeded the call to something that has been on my heart for a long time—helping other women in business.
I opened 139 Olive and The BE Hive, a female-focused event venue and women’s hub. I teamed up with my husband to launch Kickin’ It Media Group, where my consulting began taking root while we also developed affordable assets that help small businesses get seen online. These experiences have not only honed my business acumen but also deepened my empathy for fellow entrepreneurs struggling to manage all the demands that business ownership can have.
